See AOMCI.org Senior Member Username: ernie Post Number: 862 Registered: 01-2002 Posted on Saturday, August 23, 2008 - 09:13 am: Freeze plug?

All I can think of is a plug about 3 eights of an inch in dia at the top and bottom of the water passage in the head. The other part that looked like a freeze plug was where OMC put the serial number and it won't matter if it isn't there. Just about all parts for that motor are still available from a good OMC dealer Or send me a pic. I most likely have one. Hope this helps Ernie Senior Member Username: ernie Post Number: 864 Registered: 01-2002 Posted on Saturday, August 23, 2008 - 10:02 am: Is it one of these 3 plugs? If so OMC should still have them.

If not a good automotive machine shop should have them. You could also glue them back in with a good epoxy like JB weld. If you remove the head to replace them the headgasket is available on the other part of this web page which is MarineEngine Dot Com New member Username: hankham Post Number: 3 Registered: 08-2008 Posted on Monday, August 25, 2008 - 09:11 pm: Hi Guys, And thanks for the info you Guys nailed right on the head.
